Carter Can was setup in 1999 by Mr. Vijay Poddar in Kolkata. Carter has diversified interests in activities including packaging, manufacturing, exports and distribution. We are proud leading manufacturers and exporters of printed metal containers catering to the varied requirements of our customers like metal packaging solutions for paints, chemicals, lubricants, edible oils, confectionery and so on. Carter is known in its industry for its specialisation in Tea Caddies..

An ISO 9001 company has to its credit a strong R&D department that is continuously researching and developing new dies and tools. This helps us offer new and exclusive solutions to our customers and produce better-quality material daily. Today, we have an enormous range of dies and tools in our collection and offer containers from 50 gms to 25 kgs capacity in round, rectangular and many odd shapes.

Our list of valued clients includes Harrods of London, Fukuoka of Japan, Batik of Sri Lanka, Bentley and Disney World of USA and a host of Indian companies like Berger Paints, Akzo Nobel Coatings, Hindustan Lever, Duncans Industries, Tata Tea, J. We cater to clients’ requirements (For eg. Berger Paint) in the decorative and industrial segments. We supply integrated necks, berry cap cans, triple tight lid (406) cans and all others used for industrial purposes. We have also developed moulds for drums with 2in, 3in and 4in necks and open drums to cater to any requirements. Carter offers containers from 100 ml/gms capacity up to 5 lt/kg in round and rectangular shapes for lubricants, edible oils, paints, chemicals and allied industries.

For the tea & coffee industry, Carter offers decorative metal Tea Caddies from 10 gms capacity up to 12 kgs in round, square and odd shapes category with options for different types of lids. Containers can be printed in simple and complicated halftone designs in our state-of-the-art printing plant.
